Domaine Serene
Chardonnay. Willamette Valley 2002. High End.
This is a great wine with a lot of Fruits (Stone, Pear, and Nectarine), Nuts and Butter. Very heavy Chardonnay from the Oregon Area.
Aduentus Classic
40%Malbec, 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Argentina, Mendoza, 2006. Mid Tier.
Classic is a grand blend of 40% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Intense ruby red appearance; aromas of exotic black fig, raspberries and ripe boysenberry with notes of pepper, vanilla and caramel harmonize beautifully in this bold red. Generous and large on the palate with sweet tannins and integrated oak adding to this very structured wine.

2006 Donnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Spatlese
Riesling. Germany, Nahe, 2006. High End.
93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Donnhoff's 2006 Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spatlese smells beautifully of iris, cherry, lime, and honey. Juicy melon and cherry fruit are underlain by subtle salinity on a satin-textured palate, and this finishes with terrific refreshment, refinement, and lift – wafting, lilting as though its finish were yet another long inhalation. It's true, I'm crazy for what Donnhoff does with this site, but the reason the wine's quality is so often underestimated by other critical observers of the wine scene is because it is inherently delicate and doesn't demand that you pay attention. Those who fail to attend will leave more for the rest of us. Time will tell how these mature, but my guess is this will be lovely for two decades."
Stags Leap
Petite Syrah. Napa Valley 2005. Mid Tier.
Stags' Leap Winery's Petite Syrah comes from a 1920s-era field blend, which also includes small amounts of other Rhône varietals including syrah (8%), grenache (4%) and viognier (2%). The resulting wine is a rich purple color with a decadent nose full of blueberry and blackberry fruit and hints of cocoa. In the mouth, the wine is vibrant and expressive, continuing to display black fruits and chocolate with additional notes of espresso and spice. Structured, but balanced, this is an intense wine that will really start to show its stuff with a little bottle age.

Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5°
Tempranillo 80%, Merlot & Malbec 20%. Spain, Ribera del Duero, 1999. High End.
Medium ruby. Shy nose opened with aeration to show raspberry, coffee, minerals, tobacco, truffle and smoke. Rather suave in texture, with good sappy depth of flavor, but not yet expressive or sweet in the mouth. Best today on the expanding back end, which features a strong minerally flavor and firm, chewy, youthfully tough tannins.
Paradigm
Cabernet Sauvignon. Napa Valley, 2004. Mid Tier.
"With aromas and flavors of cassis, cedar and graphite, this wine delivers richness and complexity without weight and tannin," says sommelier Christie Dufault. "It's proof that bigger is not always better."

Lewis Cellar "Alex Blend"
70% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot. Napa Valley, 2007. High End.
"Combines richness with delicacy, offering a firm, subtle mix of plum, red currant, cedar and spice. Gains depth and finesse, with hints of mocha, sage and dried berry. Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2014."
Seavey Vineyard
Merlot . Napa Valley, 2005. Mid Tier.
The lush nose of ripe blackberries with hints of cedar, clove and dark chocolate gives way to an exceedingly long and rich finish. The wine's opulence is a signature of the classic 2005 vintage. To our core Merlot blocks we added Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Petit Verdot (5%) from the very top of our vineyard, a portion we call "Masochist Hill" because of its extreme slope.
